Ana Villar

Single-needle botanical work and small script

Ana trained as an etcher before training as a tattooer, and it shows in the line weight — everything is drawn by hand at actual size on tracing paper before it goes near skin, which is why the consultation takes as long as it does. Works almost entirely with a single needle, and will talk you out of anything with strokes finer than 4mm.

Juno Park

Micro-realism, fine stippling and small animal studies

Juno works under magnification and takes one client a day, which is the only honest way to keep stippling this small even across a whole piece. Greyscale only — no colour, and no portraits above about matchbox size, because past that the detail stops being the point. Ask about the moth.
